background

Albert King’s soul-funk on the left, modern bluesrock on the right - Rene Paul Blues Band is a 5-member ensemble known for their epic guitar battles, tight backbone and monthly free-for-all blues jam at Philly Joe’s Jazz Club in Tallinn. Started in 2013 by keyboardist-singer Rene Paul, the band aims to play classic blues tunes with a contemporary sound and feel. Rocky shuffles, soulful beats and spot-on vocals, this is the kind of band you can lay back to enjoy, while some of the funky bits are sure to get you up and dancing in no time.
